Thanksgiving is a time for Family, Fun and Food. Welcome to Thanksgiving at Hegedusworld. Welcome Home.
Butterball
This year if you call Butterball’s Turkey Talk Line for some cooking advice, you might get a male voice on the line. For the first time, Butterball is enlisting the help of men as well as women for its Turkey Talk Line during the holidays. And the turkey seller is seeking the first male talk-line spokesman this year as well.
Jaindl Farms
The story of Jaindl farms is one that is strong on tradition and family.
David purchased the farm in 2005 continuing the 74 year tradition of raising the same premium turkey as his father and grandfather. As a fourth generation family business the Jaindl’s have always looked for new ideas and better ways to breed, hatch, grow and feed our turkeys.
Laird's Applejack
William Laird, a County Fyfe Scotsman, emigrated from Scotland in 1698 and settled in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Believed to be a distiller by trade, he applied his skills to the most abundant natural resource available in this area of the New World – apples.
Grand Traverse Pies
We’re proud of the place of our original home. A land defined by the seasons, influenced and inspired by water, wind, snow, and sun. A land of bounty that goes far beyond our famous cherries. Where rolling hills shelter and nurture strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, and apples. A place of small, close-knit communities where families know and support each other. Where people are connected to each other and to the land. Our pies are a reflection of our deep relationship with the Grand Traverse area and its people.
Hard Cider Holidays
During the Colonial Era, hard apple cider was by far the most popular alcoholic beverage in America. There were many reasons for the immense popularity of apple cider at that time.
Pie Guy
Imagine, driving around in a truck full of fresh pies–in a tall hat, loud shorts and a mission to match. Meet the Pie Guy, and have a slice.
